I've finally gotten moved to NearlyFreeSpeech.com. This page is still using google, but fortunately, we are one step closer to a Drupal build. This google site will continue to stay up until the next iteration is ready to show at 1.0. Keep watching.

Matt and I are working on a new version of the site using Drupal on a different host, and right now I'm trying to get my domain switched over there. At the moment both sites are telling me to have the other guys do it, so its a bit of a mess. This page will still work until its actually switched, at which point either you'll see a broken build of the Drupal site, or you won't notice because the domain still redirects to this version of the site. So until Drupal is in a semblance of professionalism, I'll continue on this here.
Incidentally, part of the reason I'm trying to switch to Drupal is because that way Matt and I can work out a better system for displaying my artwork and games. Google sites is very nice for what it does, but unfortunately there's not a professional enough system for doing a gallery using Sites or Picasa. I suppose if I can get it to work for me, it might not be a problem, but we'll see.

So here's the lowdown. The old arcandio.com was hosted by a provider who served me pretty well for about six years. Just recently, I noticed that my site was down a lot. Apparently for several months, with out my realizing it. I'd been pretty busy at school and didn't think much of it. So I asked, and sure enough, the entire server suffered a "catastrophic and complete loss of data." How awesome is that. After I'd spent an entire week putting together a new site design, it crashed right to zero. So until further notice, I'll be using this google site because it's light, fast, and easy enough for me to edit while still at school. My time is very precious right now, so I need my site to just work. I'm hoping I can get Bravenet pointed here before too long so that my site is actually hosted here. I'll probably use Picasa to upload my photos, another way to streamline my process.
Peace
